Denmark’s great film event, where the audience and the film industry come together to enjoy the cinema.

 

As tradition bids someone with strong opionions gives a speech, the fire is lit and as the witch is sent to "Bloksbjerg" the party begins. Only this time the speech has gay content, the guys are holding hands and the lesbians have brought their children.

 

Attracting more than 100.000 visitors the Roskilde festival brings legendary and innovative music to an international, youngish crowd. We can't wait to hear what the top names for this year will be. Roskilde is located 35 km from Copenhagen (30 minutes by train)

 

Enjoy hundreds of jazz concerts with well known international and lesser known (but often very talented) local artists in the light Danish summer nights. Many of the concerts are open air and free.

 

2,000 cruise passengers will turn Copenhagen on its head, when this all gay cruise departs from Copenhagen harbour. Prior to the ship's departure passengers will enjoy a stay in the charming, gay-friendly Danish capital. The ship sets out from Copenhagen on a cruise to Amsterdam visiting Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Helsinki and Stockholm on its way.

 

A week of LGBT events culminating with the Pride Parade.

 

CIFF in August will present the fashion for the coming Spring/Summer.

 

The LEWD Party is Copenhagen's big annual men only leather party arranged by SLM Copenhagen. Expect lots of hot men in leather and fetish gear. Expect hardcore dance music. Expect action in the dark corners. Expect to have a fantastic night.

 

The week-long festival of mouth watering gastronomic experiences from Denmark and the other Nordic countries is open for everybody to enjoy. Take a bite of Copenhagen!

 

Gay Pride in Malmö.

 

The longest running film festival in Denmark CGLFF with an extensive programme of short films, documentaries and feature films. Add to this award shows, visits by international directors, debates and theme parties and you have one of the most important cultural and social events on the Copenhagen agenda.

 

One night a year the museums and cultural institutions let you enter unknown territories and peek behind doors otherwise closed. Add to this events by almost any cultural institution and party venue in town and you get The Night of Culture! The Night of Culture attracts almost 100.000 (mostly local) visitors and approximately 300 venues are ready to welcome you from 6 pm to midnight.

 

CPH:DOX shows innovative and challenging as well as more traditional documentary films. And they throw some nice parties.
