As a temporary foreign visitor, you are entitled to free medical treatment in hospitals and emergency wards if you are taken ill or have an accident, provided that you have not travelled to Denmark with the intention of obtaining treatment and are physically unable to return to your own country.

If you need to see a doctor, your hotel or bed & breakfast will always be of assistance.

Between 16.00 and 08.00 you can call the emergency service at (+45) 70 13 00 41.
If relevant, the staff will refer you to an emergency ward.

In need of an ambulance, the police or the fire brigade, please dial 112. The number is toll-free and works with all phones - even pay phones.
